NPI review report recently released In 2016 State and Federal Environment Ministers of Australia agreed to review the NPI to find out if the right information was being collected and whether collection was cost effective. In early 2022 the NPI Review Steering Committee Secretariat released this report summarising submissions to the review and recommendations for further action. The review confirmed that the NPI is largely meeting its intended goals and that these remain relevant and broadly supported by stakeholders.The review recommended improved tools and processes to streamline operations and provide an enhanced user experience.
