NPI reports for 2010 are due on 31 March 2011

If your company has a 'calendar year' reporting period, a report for 2010 should be submitted to the NPI by 31 March 2011 and it is advisable to start the process as soon as possible.

The change in NPI reporting in 2009, requiring estimation and reporting of the amount of NPI substances in waste materials ("Transfers") is still relevant in 2010. To understand what you need to do to correctly estimate and report Transfers, you should read Section 4 of The NPI Guide Version 5.1 and all of the Transfers Information Booklet - Version 2.
